Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Public Dielmann-WebRelations, from Georgia State University. She took on the role of Communications Director for the Ladue School District in 2009, after having served on the district’s Board of Education for more than five years. During her time on the Board of Education, Susan served as Board President and participated in a number of district-level planning committees, including the Ladue Education Foundation Planning Committee. “It has been my pleasure to be involved in the Ladue Education Foundation since its inception when I was the Board of Education liaison. I have seen firsthand the amazing opportunities the LEF has provided students at every level and look forward to watching the Foundation grow and become an even more dynamic component to the success of students in our district.” Susan lives in Olivette and has two children attending LHWHS.
Carolyn is a Director of the Ladue Board of Education and acts as liaison to the LEF Board. She is also President of the Ladue Horton Watkins High School Parent Association. She has a master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Carolyn worked in the banking industry before she began her 20 years of active leadership and service for the Ladue School District and the community. She and her husband, Kurt, raised three children in the district. Her two daughters are alumni of Ladue Horton Watkins High School, and their son will graduate in 2015.
Hayley is a school counselor at Old Bonhomme Elementary. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from William Woods University, a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Lincoln University, and a specialist in Educational Leadership. She enjoys working with the LEF and helping teachers and students connect to the resources they need to be successful. Hayley lives in Olivette with her husband and two children.
Jill serves on the Ladue Education Foundation as a teacher liaison, after being the recipient of an LEF teacher grant. She has a BA in Elementary Education from Lindenwood and an MS in EdTech from Fontbonne. She has been teaching for 10 years. She currently serves as theTechnology Integration Coach at Reed School. She has been married for 13 years and has 3 children.
