Million Dollar Donation Kicks off Capital Campaign

The Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) has embarked on a capital campaign in support of the proposed renovation of the Ladue Horton Watkins High School (LHWHS) with the following objectives:

·         To increase the quality and value of educational experiences for each and every student by making more opportunities available for learning and preparation for life.

·         To keep our district in a position of educational leadership by providing an environment that enables teachers to do their very best work while strengthening the district’s long-standing ability to hire and retain top-notch teachers in an increasingly competitive hiring environment.

·         To shape the future of the Ladue School District, as the high school renovation project will set the standard for years to come.

·         To serve as a model for what can be accomplished through a concentrated effort combining both public funding and private influence.

We are thrilled to have a lead gift of $1,000,000 pledged by three Ladue Schools families!  Dana and Barry Sandweiss, Julie and Tim Stern, and Nicky and Scott Stern have combined to make this incredibly generous pledge. Comprised of several Ladue alumni, these current district families have taken a leadership role in ensuring the excellence of our schools for the benefit of all the students and teachers, as well as the entire community. We are grateful!
