Kristen is the Executive Director of the LEF. She has devoted her professional life and volunteer time to children and education. After receiving her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Duke University, she taught elementary school through Teach for America in Houston and Nashville. She served as the Director of Education, Director, and Co-Owner of Sylvan Learning Center franchises in the St. Louis area. Prior to joining the LEF, she was the Senior Coordinator of Field Development for the Autism Speaks charitable organization. She has been active in the parent organizations of the Ladue Early Childhood Center and Spoede Elementary School, serving as Treasurer, President, and Committee Chair. Kristen lives in Creve Coeur and has two children in the Ladue School District.
Christine is the Administrative Assistant of the Ladue Education Foundation and has her B.S. in Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development from Ohio University. Prior to joining LEF, Christine worked in the fashion industry for 15+ years. Christine brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting, office management, marketing, public relations and event planning as LEF continues to grow. Christine and her husband Shane moved into the area specifically for the stellar reputation and currently have two boys in the Ladue School District. Since having children, Christine developed a passion for nonprofit work, which eventually led her to the Ladue Education Foundation.
